【摘要】:Conductivitymeasurementsaretypicallymadeonsamplesofmoderatetohighionicstrengthwherecontaminationofopensamplesinroutinelaboratoryhandlingisnegligible.Underthoseconditions,standardtemperaturecompensationusingcoefficientsof1to3%ofreadingperdegreeCelsiusoverwideconcentrationrangesisappropriate.Incontrast,thistestmethodrequiresspecialconsiderationstoreducetracecontaminationandaccommodatesthehighandvariabletemperaturecoefficientsofpurewatersamplesthatcanrangeashighas7%ofreadingperdegreeCelsius.Inaddition,measuringinstrumentdesignperformancemustbeprovenunderhighpurityconditions.Thistestmethodisapplicablefordetectingtraceamountsofioniccontaminantsinwater.Itistheprimarymeansofmonitoringtheperformanceofdemineralizationandotherhighpuritywatertreatmentoperations.Itisalsousedtodetectioniccontaminationinboilerwaters,microelectronicsrinsewaters,pharmaceuticalprocesswaters,etc.,aswellastomonitorandcontrolthelevelofboilerandpowerplantcyclechemistrytreatmentchemicals.ThistestmethodsupplementsthebasicmeasurementrequirementsforTestMethodsD1125,D2186,andD4519.Atverylowlevelsofalkalinecontamination,forexample,0x2013;1x03BC;g/LNaOH,conductivityissuppressed,andcanactuallybeslightlybelowthetheoreticalvalueforpurewater.(13,14)Alkalinematerialssuppressthehighlyconductivehydrogenionconcentrationwhilereplacingitwithlessconductivesodiumandhydroxideions.Thisphenomenonisnotaninterferencewithconductivityorresistivitymeasurementitselfbutcouldgivemisleadingindicationsofinferredwaterpurityinthisrangeifitisnotrecognized.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofelectricalconductivityandresistivityofhighpuritywatersamplesbelow10x03BC;S/cm(above0.1Mohm-cm).Itisapplicabletobothcontinuousandperiodicmeasurementsbutinallcases,thewatermustbeflowinginordertoproviderepresentativesampling.Staticgrabsamplingcannotbeusedforsuchhighpuritywater.Continuousmeasurementsaremadedirectlyinpurewaterprocesslines,orinsidestreamsamplelinestoenablemeasurementsonhightemperatureorhighpressuresamples,orboth.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
