【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecombinationofbasestandards,togetherwiththeselectionofappropriateoptionsandparametervalues,necessarytospecifyhowQSIG/PSS1canbeusedtoprovidedigitalsignallingcapabilitiesatinterfacesattheCreferencepointbetweenaPrivateIntegratedservicesNetworkeXchange(PINX)andanInterconnectingNetwork(ICN)topermitinteroperabilitybetweenequipmentfromdifferentvendorsanddifferentpublicorprivateserviceproviders.NOTE1-PINXinthesenseofthisInternationalStandardisusedinthemeaningofaPINXdirectlyattachedtotheICN.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoattachedPINXsandInterconnectingNetworks(ICN).ThisInternationalStandardidentifiesthenecessaryoroptionalemploymentofparticularfunctions,proceduresandserviceswhenprovided:-physicalandelectricalcharacteristics(physicallayer)oftheinterfacestothetransmissionsystemstobeemployed;-datalinklayerprocedures;-networklayerprocedures;and-supplementaryservicesandadditionalnetworkfeaturestomeetspecificcorporatenetworkuserrequirements.ThisInternationalStandardstatesrequirementsuponattachedPINXsandInterconnectingNetwork(ICN)implementationsinordertoachieveinteroperabilitybetweenequipmentinPISNsservingasCorporatetelecommunicationNetworks(CNs).NOTE2-ImplementationofthisInternationalStandarddoesnotprecludeamanufacturerfromofferingothermeansofinterconnection.ItalsodoesnotprecludeaVPNserviceprovidertoofferbasiccallcommunicationsbetweenaPINXandothernetworkslikePSTNorISDN.ISO/IECTR14475specifiesvariousaccessarrangementsbetweenaPINXandapublicnetworkwherereferencepointsCandTresideeitheratasingleoratseparateinterfaces.ThescopeofthisInternationalStandardislimitedtocovertheCreferencepointaspectsataseparateinterface.ThecurrentversionofthisInternationalStandarddoesnotintendtospecifyanygatewayorendPINXrequirementsfortheICNsideoftheinterface.Thereforeittypicallyusestheterm"virtualtransitPINX"insteadofInterconnectingNetwork(ICN).
