【摘要】:Thistestmethodspecifiesanenergy-dispersiveX-rayfluorescence(EDXRF)methodforthedeterminationoftotalsulfurinautomotivefuelswithaconcentrationrangeof6mg/kgto50mg/kg.Thepooledlimitofquantitationofthistestmethodasobtainedbystatisticalanalysisofinterlaboratorytestresultsis6mg/kgsulfur.Afundamentalassumptioninthistestmethodisthatthestandardandsamplematrixiswellmatched.MatrixmismatchcanbecausedbyC/Hratiodifferencesbetweensamplesandstandardsorbythepresenceofotherheteroatoms.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thepreferredconcentrationunitsaremg/kgsulfur.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
